Starflower Essentials is a vital skin food that is certified organic and bio-dynamic. Founder Cherylyn VanKirk started making personal products out of herbs and other ingredients you could find in a garden.

Their products smell great and feed the skin with the most vital ingredients imported from all over the world. Starflower Essentials products contain wild-crafted herbs, un-diluted essential oils and trace minerals. They process in small batches to assure potency and vitality.

Unlike other companies that rely on propyls, parabens, and other chemicals to emulsify, texturize, colorize and preserve their products. Starflowers uses minimally-processed, safe, and effective ingredients, such as:

• Grapefruit seed extract, Vitamin C and E to preserve
• Bees wax, guar and xanthan gum to emulsify and texturize
• Beta-Carotene, Calendula and Sea Buckthorn to provide nutrients and color

I also like that they use glass packaging. Glass helps prevents the degradation and oxidation of the ingredients. Their products have an average shelf life of 18 months. Glass is more environmentally responsible than using plastic.
